Early after graduation Mr. Hopkins transitioned to the field of education and started his career as behavior specialist and ISS coordinator... Due to his restlessness, hard work and dedication, Mr. Hopkins since has become a Behavior Interventionist, Elementary Dean, Athletic Director and Middle school Dean and High School Dean at Early College of Excellence all within the NPFE school district .. This will be the 9th year of commitment to scholars and families within our communities. Mr. Hopkins is truly an advocate and catalyst for our Community .. "OUR GOAL IS TO BE A CHAMPION FOR SCHOLARS" "EDUCATION FIRST MINDSET ". In 2017 Stephon Hopkins Started his own Non-Profit organization Urban Innovators Foundation. Servicing scholars in After School Enrichment in areas of S.T.E.M. Mental Health art and Athletics. Since in Certification in 2017, UI services over 20 schools and 500 families annually , through programs: Performing Arts, Stem, Robotics, Chess, Athletics, Summer Enrichment, Outreach with partners in community Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, Say Detroit, Toys for Totts, Variety Kids, Phoenix shelter, Cots Shelter etc. Hopkins has also started “The Village Detroit Mentoring and Tutoring for scholar athletes in grades K-12. Exposure is essentially the key, our scholars will be what the see. “It Takes a Village To Raise a scholar”

Alexandria Billups was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and is a proud product of Detroit Public Schools. She is an alumna of Lewis Cass Technical High School… second to none!
Alexandria has 10 years of experience in leadership with an operations background. Since her very first job, at the age of 14, Alexandria has been serving others. Her desire to be of service, led her to study and obtain her bachelor’s degree in hospitality business from Michigan State University and she eventually began her career in the service industry. She later returned to school to pursue and complete her MBA in operational management. Her career has spanned from food service, financial services, workforce development and job placement services, to now servicing inner city youth.
Presently, Alexandria is a 3rd grade teacher at New Paradigm for Education’s Loving Academy and an operations officer for Detroit Urban Innovators. As operations officer, Alexandria has helped to bridge gaps for hundreds of scholars and families by providing resources and experiences conducive to enriching their mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
